Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) is taking their award’s nomination gala to another level this year by hosting several nominees and celebs in no other city than the City Of Angels, Los Angeles, USA in an effort to begin the process of creating mutually and economically viable cooperation between Nollywood and Hollywood Filmmakers!
Some of the Nollywood celebrities in town for the event are Omotola Ekeinde Jalade, Emem Isong, Kunle Afolayan, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Patience Ozokwor, Fathia Balogun, OC Ukeje, Doris Simeon, Kingsley Ogoro, Lydia Forson, and several others. Bola Aduwo of NollywoodAccess is also live in LA to bring us more updates on the event!
During the nomination gala tonight, nominees in each of the awards’ category will be announced from over 800 entries received from 50 countries within and outside Africa.
Nigeria’s soulful singer, Asa will be treating guests to a live music performance and a fashion show featuring top level fashion designers showcasing the best of African wears will also be a side attraction of the night.
