Kim Kardashian Times Her Beach Trips To The Most Flattering Sunlight : Rolling Stone Interview Highlights

If only she could control Mother Nature! Kim Kardashian goes to great lengths to make sure she always looks her best, even timing her beach trips to when the sunlight will be most flattering. Chatting with Vanessa Grigoriadis for the new issue of Rolling Stone — and posing for Terry Richardson in an accompanying photo shoot — the pregnant-again reality star, 34, made it very clear that her image is important to her.

"When I go on vacation, I only go to the beach certain times of the day, and lay out by the pool the rest of the time," she explained, noting that the sun is often too flat and unflattering in photos. "In Miami, I'll get up at six and swim in the ocean at seven in the morning right before the harsh sun comes up — and the pictures always look amazing."
